The information below reflects the policies for a summer stay at MBC.  Retreats and off-season policies may vary.

Your First Time At MBC

  • A very full summer schedule with excellent speakers in chapel, fun activities all day long, and a great lake to enjoy.

  • A Trailer Park with over 300 seasonal and short-stay sites.

  • Camp Widjiitiwin with a full 26-acre facility on the beautiful Muskoka River.

  • Summit College, providing a post-secondary Bible, Christian service, and outdoor education.

  • Fellowship Centre with 11,000 square feet of recreation and multi-purpose space.

  • Year-round accommodation enabling MBC to host retreats for groups of up to 300.

  • Chapel seating for 1,000 people


Obviously you're considering MBC for your vacation for many reasons. We desire to minister to you as a whole person. SPIRITUALLY - allow the Holy Spirit to revive your soul. PHYSICALLY - enjoy the many activities including our beach and extensive guest programming. EMOTIONALLY - just let yourself unwind in the beautiful Muskoka's.


If you're staying in our accommodations, you'll only need to bring the clothes you'll need to relax with and some other personal items. Some people dress up (business casual) for chapel - but that is not required - come as you are (no bathing suits please). Bedding and towels are provided (please bring your own beach towel). If you choose to bring a portable audio device, please remember those around you and be considerate with the volume inside and outdoors.


Please Note: There are no refrigerators, microwave ovens, cooking facilities, telephones, radios, or televisions in any of our rooms.

Policies affecting your stay

The following policies to guests and visitors on the MBC grounds.

  • Chapel Attendance
    Since its inception the ministry of Muskoka Baptist Conference has centered on the Word of God and our chapel services. We believe this is critical to our purpose for existing and therefore it is expected that guests will attend and support the chapel ministries.

  • Alcohol
    The consumption of alcohol as a beverage at MBC is strictly prohibited.

  • Smoking
    Muskoka Baptist Conference enjoys a smoke-free environment. Smoking in any of our facilities is prohibited.

  • Motorized Vehicles
    Operation of all motorized vehicles including all golf carts is limited to licensed drivers; registration and proof of liability insurance must be registered at the Trailer Park Office. All motorcycles must be licensed for the road and fully insured. All-terrain vehicles must be licensed, have liability insurance, and be registered at the Trailer Park Office. The laws regarding compulsory use of helmets on certain motorized vehicles are enforced on MBC property.

  • Pets
    MBC does not allow pets on the grounds. However, we do recommend an excellent boarding facility.

  • Drugs
    The use of non-medicinal and non-prescription drugs is prohibited.

Reservations

 A minimum of 25% of the accommodation rate per adult is required as a deposit for all bookings. Telephone reservations can be confirmed by VISA, MasterCard. Your deposit is applied to the full cost of the reservation. When requesting reservations, please pay careful attention to arrival and departure dates.


Reservations will be confirmed in writing via mail or email.

Cancellations

More than 7 days notice: The deposit may be refunded less a $25 Administration fee or transferred to another booking.

Less than 7 days notice: The entire deposit will be forfeited. This deposit may not be transferred to another booking.

Check-In

Check-in time is after 3 PM. Guests arriving earlier are welcome but accommodation cannot be promised before 3 PM.

Check-Out

Check-out is by 10:00 AM except for special short-term packages.

Amending Rights

MBC reserves the right to amend the contents of this page without notice.
